Selected by INRA in France. It has high vigor. Good grafting affinity. Suitable for calcareous, non-irrigated, dry and even hilly soils. Allows for replenishment. It has been the most important clonal rootstock for peaches and nectarines for over 30 years due to its adaptability to the most difficult soil conditions regarding limestone and lack of water.
